Hey there! I am Leanne Shafner, the Founder & CEO of Project We Society (PWS), but I am also a Holistic Health & Personal Development Coach for women.  I have been working with & supporting women in a group capacity through our PWS female community platform for years, but I am also a graduate and certified Holistic Health Coach (H.H.C.) from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York.   

Who do I work with?

My passion is rooted in helping growth-oriented women to live a more natural, less toxic life that is reflected in their physical, mental, and social health & wellness through self-care, healthy whole foods, less chemicals, and loving, empowering relationships. I believe in the power of self-love and self-care and am a strong advocate for eliminating the negative stigmas around mental health & depression. 

My practice is located in Andover, MA in a beautiful, uplifting wellness clinic that offers services such as naturopathic medicine, massage, infrared sauna, and more.  Together we can offer you a full menu of amazing tools to support your truest, most optimized wellness!

What is a Holistic Health Coach?

The Integrative Institute for Nutrition (IIN) in New York, describes it best:  “Holistic Health Coaches are mentors and wellness experts who help others feel their best through personalized lifestyle changes that meet unique dietary, emotional, and physical goals and needs. These coaches work with clients to help them discover how to fuel their bodies, live a healthy lifestyle, and find the best wellness and health routines that work for them.” 

As a graduate of IIN, I am not a physician, nutritionist or dietitian, however, I am educated in a multitude of dietary theories, including vegan and plant-based lifestyles, and understand how to work along-side your health professional(s) to help you to optimize the results of your 1:1 coaching with me.  While nutritionists and dietitians may put clients on a particular diet to treat specific issues, my role as your health coach is to support you in finding the foods, lifestyle, tools & resources that are right for your unique health goals. 

DISCLAIMER:  As I am not a medical professional, I cannot treat, cure or diagnose you.  You will still need to have a PCP or primary care professional that you work with.  Health Coaching works in conjunction with your other primary & health care professionals.

Our bi-weekly, 50-minute, private sessions together are focused on successful results by looking ”behind the scenes” of your life to find the root cause of what’s holding you back from excelling.  Our work together will be very much a “whole person” approach.  For example, if you can’t lose weight and you feel like you are eating right but craving more, through our working together we may discover that your hormone levels are misaligned or maybe you simply aren’t eating enough healthy fats & fiber.

  • How is your self-esteem elevated because you feel mentally & physically healthy in your body? 
  • How does your life improve with more natural energy/better sleep/less stress?   
  • What confidence do you have because you’ve learned to set appropriate boundaries for yourself when navigating stressful relationships?
  • What do you love about the shift in your energy when you recognize how amazing you are?
  • How does your mental health improve by learning how to know, love and appreciate your authentic self? 
  • How proud of you of yourself that you’ve been able to cut toxins from your life?  Toxic products, toxic people, toxic relationships? 
 
These are just some of the examples of things we can work on together.
