A bright, shiny new year is upon us. Another 365 days, another 365 chances, they say. Chances for what, exactly? Well, friend, that is up to you. What is it that you are looking for in your life? Financial security, increased spirituality, closer relationships, more friends, less stress, better health, inner peace?
Maybe you seek beauty? Beauty that may seem to have been lost in a world challenged with proving one’s worth, harmful social media messages, uncertainty, fear, sickness, death, anxiety.
We understand. And we’re here to tell you that the beauty is there. It is within you and around you. You may have to seek it out in our current global climate but, we assure you, truly radiant beauty surrounds you.
2020 has been a very different year for many. A year that we, ourselves, have had to dig deep to find resources supportive of our heart, mind, body & soul to stay resilient, be inspired and really go within to find inner strength. One such tool has been a very special deck of Oracle cards called Native Spirit by Denise Linn.
What are Oracle Cards? “Oracle decks (cards) support emotional and spiritual health by attuning the user to their intuition and a deeper inner knowing that we can sometimes forget during the busyness or transitions of life,” says Aarona Lea Pichinson, author, ritual wellness teacher, and founder of oracle card set The Moon Deck.
Close to each day for the past 9 months, we’ve pulled between 1-3 cards to receive heartfelt messages from The Universe that pertain to our mindset that day. Each time the card(s) have spoken powerful, relatable words and images that have lightened our spirits, grounded our minds & deepened our connection with self. In a deck of 44 cards, we pull the same 6-8 cards regularly. Coincidence? We think not but, you can decide.
Today, we wanted to share some special inspiration from the Native Spirit deck for our members, friends and readers to offer you guidance, positivity & inspiration as we walk together into the next 365 days. While moving our energy through the deck, we intentionally asked that the cards provide a message of value that our readers could benefit from going into this new year.
The card that we pulled is called Walking In Beauty. It is a card that we have NEVER pulled before. So, this message is specifically meant for you, dear souls! We hope that it reaches you with the message that we wish you good health, a happy heart and the bliss of knowing authentic beauty in your new year!
WALKING IN BEAUTY
Native Spirit Deck by Denise Linn
Radiant beauty surrounds you. You’re beautiful, inside and out. No matter what your age, your grace is growing. Being in balance. As you walk in beauty and feel gratitude for it, your life will be filled with immense splendor. Whenever you can, spend time in natural, wild spaces. As you see and hear and feel beaty around you, your own beauty will grow.
In Native American traditions, there’s a concept of walking in beauty. It’s called “hozho naasha” in the Navajo/Dineh tradition, and it means being in balance with a natural way of life. When we are in the “right relationship” with the natural world around us, we are walking in beauty. The more you send and see beauty around you-in your environment, yourself and your body-the more it will fill your life, in all forms. Never say anything about yourself or your body that’s negative. Don’t put down yourself or others. Instead, affirm beauty, and take time to adorn your body and personal space. Walk in nature and inhale the beauty of every part of our wonderful planet. Cherish yourself and the luminescence within you, and you will glow.
Create outer harmony in your home environment, even in small ways – such as a vase of flowers essential oils or clean windows- and your inner grace and radiance will begin to shine even more brightly. Wherever you go, look for beauty in your surroundings and, as a result, the world will become more beautiful.
